Please read these Terms of Use carefully before accessing or using SplitMyBill. By using the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Agreeing to the Rules

By using SplitMyBill, a free service by CODE4UTECH CONSULTANCY PVT. LTD. ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to follow these simple rules. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app.

2. It Is Free, But We Show Ads

SplitMyBill is 100% free for you to use. To cover our server costs, we display Google Ads. By using the app, you accept that you will see these ads, and that we use basic tools (like Google Analytics) to improve the app.

3. Use It Responsibly

We want everyone to enjoy the app. Please do not:

  • Use automated bots or scrapers to extract data from our site.
  • Try to hack, break, or overload our servers and database.
  • Enter illegal, offensive, or harmful information.

4. The App is "As-Is" (No Promises)

We work hard to make sure our math is perfect and our app never crashes, but mistakes can happen. We provide the app "as is" without any guarantees. Always double-check the final bill amounts before paying your friends. We are not responsible if the app calculates something incorrectly or if the server goes offline.

5. Protecting Our Company (Limitation of Liability)

To keep our company completely safe and allow us to offer this service for free, you agree that CODE4UTECH CONSULTANCY PVT. LTD. cannot be held legally or financially responsible for any losses, damages, or issues that result from you using SplitMyBill. This includes financial losses, data loss, server hacks, or arguments with your friends over a bill. You use the app entirely at your own risk.

6. International Users & Governing Law

Our company is based in India, and these rules are governed strictly by the laws of India (including the Information Technology Act, 2000). If you are using this app from the European Union (EU), United States, or anywhere else outside India, you do so under Indian jurisdiction. While we try to follow global best practices like GDPR, any legal disputes must be handled exclusively in the courts of India.

7. Data Deletion

We automatically and permanently delete all your bill data after 10 days to protect your privacy and keep our servers fast. We cannot recover it after it is deleted.
