SplitMyBill is a no-registration tool. We do not collect names, phone numbers, or emails. Any data you enter (like group names, expense titles, or amounts) is stored only locally in your browser or our local database for a short period.
For convenience, some session data may be stored temporarily in our local database for up to 10 days only. This is done solely to allow users to re-access their bill links easily without re-entering details. After 10 days, this data is automatically and permanently deleted. No user credentials or personal identifiers are stored.
We use Google Analytics to improve user experience. It tracks anonymized usage patterns such as browser type, time spent, and popular features. No personal data or entered bill content is shared with Google.
SplitMyBill is supported by Google Ads, which helps us offer the service 100% free to all users. Ads may use cookies for ad personalization. Users can control ad preferences via their Google account.
Your group and bill data are stored in your browser’s localStorage for immediate re-access. This ensures a faster experience with no need to sign up. You may clear this data anytime by clearing browser cache. If using incognito mode, your data will not be saved after session ends.
As we do not store user accounts or passwords, your data is kept secure by default. All operations run securely on your device. Any temporary server data is auto-deleted and never analyzed or sold.
